Soy Aquaculture Alliance’s Aquafeed Formulation Short Course offers members in-depth training on feeding systems and related topics of practical application. It is designed to introduce U.S.-based feed, aquaculture, and agriculture industry professionals to the dynamic field of aquaculture nutrition and feed formulation. Each Short Course features engaging speakers, hands-on learning with BESTMIX 4, access to feed formulation databases, and networking opportunities with fellow participants and industry leaders.

The Soy Research Trifecta

The Soy Aquaculture Alliance hosted an hour-long webinar on Wednesday, July 1, for “The Soy Research Trifecta” — our webinar providing updates on the University of Idaho’s 20-year program to breed high-soy-tolerant rainbow trout, their research to maximize soy nutrients for fish, and using machine-learning technology as a more efficient intestinal measurement tool.

U of I researchers Jake Bledsoe and Marina Subramaniam shared their research and expertise in leading the session and followed their presentation with a Q&A.
